Energy Related Projects

Yanke Machine Shop field crews have fabricated and delivered many components to hydro projects and energy related projects over the years. We have built to AWWA specs. and customers specs. to insure quality workmanship required by long term usage of hydro facilities. One of our customers here in Idaho has been Idaho Power. Some of the projects we've worked on for them have been:

• Milliner Hydro Electric Project, 9' dia. and 17' dia Penstocks
• Swan Falls Dam, gate de-icing system
• Brownlee Dam, trash racks repair of brake runners
• Niagara Springs, raceway screens
• North Side Canal, stoplogs
• Boise Operations Center, crane repair

Other energy related projects we've been involved with include:

• Hydro West, wicked gate, semi-spiral and draft tube and on site repairs.
• Co-generation plants, Boise Cascade, Tamarack, Plummer, Dinuba, Soleadad all U.S.A. and Drayton Valley, Canada.
• Hazelton B and Wilson Lake hydro projects, pit liners and installation of turbines and generators.
