Civil - Government Projects

Yanke Machine Shop has indirectly been involved within this field over many years. Our main function has been to support general contractors as a fabricator, supplying needed components on a variety of projects. Some of these projects are as follows:

• U.S. Dept. of Interior, Arrow Rock Dam, Outlet works rehabilitation, 48" dia. and 66" dia. Bellmouths fabrication.
• Idaho Dept. of Transportation, sign support structures, roadway safety railing, bridge drains/down spouts and rails.
• Idaho Dept. of Agriculture, Bureau of Weights and Measures, Dolly weigh cart and weights.
• State of Idaho, Dept. of Fish and Game, fish screens.
• Idaho Dept. of Parks and Recreation, steel gates.
• U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers, Lucky Peak, stairways and platforms and onsite machine work.
• U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers, McNary Dam, Vertical barrier fish screens, VBS bases and dogging beams.
• NASA, pre launch test equipment.
